Back at the stove again

Well, been away from cooking for a few weeks now while working a local Scout Wood Badge course and haven’t tried too much new, at least not anything to write about. Tonight we tried a variation of our Salisbury Steak recipe but made
Shepherd’s Pie. It tasted great but the presentation of the dish wasn’t anything special. Something we saw on a cooking show sometime back was to add egg whites to the mashed potatoes which would allow the top to brown a bit. Didn’t turn out though we ate
a good half of it before we decided we had to stop! I’ve ranked the recipe as good and to try again. Give it a whirl and let me hear your thoughts.
