Playgroup Granola Bars
I was crunched for time this morning when I made this recipe. I didn't have any raisins, but had all the other ingredients. These bars were a breeze to make and turned out so delicious. I had to add about 3-4 tbsp of heavy cream and some peanut butter for the bars to come together, but I'm not complaining because these granola bars were amazing. This will be my go-to recipe for a quick afterschool snack.

Asian Orange Chicken
I just made this dish tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I had to tweak it just a little bit because I didn't have any fresh ginger, so I used ground ginger instead, and I didn't have an orange to use the zest, so I just used more of the frozen concentrate orange pineapple orange juice that I had on hand. I made a tempura batter and fried the chicken instead of marinating it and I love the way that it turned out. I also added 2 very small cans of diced peaches with the juice and I think it was so good. Next time I make this recipe, I will add just a touch more soy sauce so that it balances out the sweetness. Great recipe.
