This recipe has problems with it; my bad for not studying the whole recipe before making them! 1) Mini marshmallows come in 10.5-oz bags, not 16 oz. 2) Even using a 10.5 oz bag - 50% less than the recipe calls for -- there's way too many add-ins for the chocolate used. There's only a small amount of chocolate to hold together all the nuts and marshmallows, and there's lots of nuts and marshmallows left over at the bottom of the bowl. It doesn't look at all like the picture, in which everything is covered with chocolate! 3) The recipe is for "clusters" and the picture shows what looks like dropped candies, but the instructions say to pour everything into a 13 X 9 dish, which does not form clusters. Even if you cut them apart afterwards, it won't look like the picture.

Great recipe! I made this as Valentines Day gifts and people loved it. A few comments: 1) I doubled the recipe, but I wouldn't make much more than that at one time unless you have a very big bowl -- you need space in the bowl to mix. 2) I made this with both walnuts and pecans. Both were great, but I really really loved the pecans. 3) The recipe says to add the nuts to the syrup, but in that case you'd be making a small amount of syrup in a very large pot, which is difficult. I put the nuts in a large bowl and added the syrup to the bowl to mix.

These were so delicious, yet so easy to make! I used toasted pecans instead of walnuts. I used the handle of a knife to make the thumbprints so as not to burn my thumb in the hot dough. I took an earlier poster's recommendation and put the jam in a ziploc bag with a corner cut off so I could pipe it in, and that worked very well.
