Beef Tips

Reviewed: May 31, 2002
This recipe was delicious. I too cooked it in the crockpot. I only filled it with water till the 2lbs of stew meet was covered, I omitted the salt, put in 1/2 a large white onion, and the 1/4 c. worscheshire and low sodium soy sauce. It smelled great cooking day. Right before we ate it I added just the brown gravy pack with no water and it thickend up quite nicely. The was a great meal. My husband is asking for seconds.

Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2002
This recipe was absolutely delicious. I didn't need as much green and red peppers as called for and I chopped and sliced all my veggies very thin. Thin I just prepared them as the fajita packing instructed. Also I would recommend brushing them litely with butter or water so they aren't so crispy. All in all though a wonderful recipe with lots of flavor.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2002
I didn't like these cookies at all. They are ok if you like a very "cakey" kind of cookie. I followed the directions to a T on the recipe and just found them to be bland and entirely too cakey.

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2002
This recipe was absolutely wonderful. I found it easier to roll if I refridgerated it first. Also they are really pretty if you roll them in sugar and colored sugar sprinkles. Great and easy!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: May 26, 2002
This was not the best recipe I have ever had. My husband stopped eating after the first bite and requested I please never make it again.

Texas Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2002
I thought this meal had a wonderful taste and would taste really good over a nice salad. However my husband didn't like it one bit. He said it smelled funny and tasted worse. I would make this again for me, but in a slow cooker, but not for him.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2002
This is a really good pumpkin bread but it is a little on the sweet side. It still tasted great though. My picky toddler just gobbles it up.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2002
This was just okay. The chips I cooked for minimal time and they were just too crispy. Also I followed the salsa recipe to a T and it actually wasn't that bad. They were good together but you have to make and eat the chips the day you want it.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2002
This was a very good meatloaf recipe. My husband liked it. It was full of flavor. I used 1/2c of ranch dressing and 1/2c sour cream. Also I started out with 1/2 of bread crumbs and worked my way up from there. This was a delicious recipe will make it again.

Creamy Potato Pork Chop Bake

Reviewed: May 30, 2002
I personally loved this meal, I used the cube hashbrowns not shredded, and it was very cheesey. It could have used a little more bake time as the taters weren't quite done but still was good. My hubby who is a VERY picky eater thought it was okay, and would eat it again, but not on his list of favs. It's on mine though.

Puppy Chow

I have been looking for this recipe since a girl I used to work with left to go back home and I lost it. This is the best chocolate peanut butter snack out there. Its not to hard to make either.

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: May 29, 2002
This recipe was pretty good. I didn't like it with the hot dog buns so next time I make it I am going to try Fritos as some have mentioned. Also not really a big onion fan but they weren't too bad in this recipe. This is a great quick fixer meal.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: May 26, 2002
This was delicious. My husband is very picky and said "it looks funky". No sooner he tried it he ate more than half the pan. I did cut the amount of sour cream in half and only used enough crushed chips to where I couldn't see the cheese. It was soooo great.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2002
This was definately made the chicken nice and crunchy. I use chicken tenders then tossed them in hot sauce and they were just like some restaurants boneless buffalo chicken wings. It was so delicious.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2002
This was fairly easy to prepare and smelled great while cooking. I added a little extra garlic powder to the mixture and more pepper but it still could have used a little extra Umpf. The chicken breast were also a little on the dry side. If I make this again I might butterfly it first and then cook it. Overall it was okay.

Bacon Chicken I

This recipe was okay. I will make it again as a quick fix it meal. Also another can of cream of celery would have helped alot as it didn't have enough gravy.

Cheesy Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2002
My husband and I absolutely love this dish!!! I did exactly as the directions said and it came out wonderful. The chops were a little tough but I think I just needed a little more sauce. I also added a bit of black pepper...mmm it was tasty.

No Time to Cook Chicken

This was absolutely the BEST chicken I have had in ages. I did just like the recipe said but added a little black pepper. I made mashed potatoes and seasoned green beans and it was a great "down home" kinda meal.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: May 15, 2002
My husband and I absolutely loved this dish. I used a Sirloin Roast, sliced it an hour before being done and it came out great, also added quite a bit of salt. I also used regular french bread and cut them in quarters then put mozzarela on the inside. It came out GREAT!!!
