Vegetable Lo Mein

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
i use recipes as a guide and motivation, and adapting to what i have at hand. this one, i used spinach fettucine, fire roasted frozen veggies from costco, fresh white onion, fresh green peppers, fresh garlic. only 1 tsp of honey, lite soy sauce. didnt add the hoisin as my kids like it spicy (but will try later for adults). the sauce is so flavorful! actually, i added some tbs. of the starchy boiling water to incorporate everything. love it! angchick, you did great, thanks!!!!

Flavorful Flounder

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
its amazing how something so simple can taste sooooo good. i admit my scepticism when i read it, but now i believe! i did exactly, only because i didnt have scallions, and thought they were more for color, i substituted for chopped green peppers-about 1 tbs. perfect

Baked Cod with Boursin Herb Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
excellent recipe, just had to substitute the boursin for a herb and garlic spread (didnt have boursin). drained the tomatoes as suggested. no butter needed! loved it! going to be repeated often, as is very easy to make and really gives a twist to cod. served it with linguini tossed with butter and the remaining tomatoes. delish!!!!
