Moscow Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2006
Didn't have the Vodka, so I used all Ameretto, and added 1/2 teaspoon of Van. extract. I also made this with 6oz milk and 3 teaspoons hot cocoa.

Beef Parmesan with Garlic Angel Hair Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2004
Served this at a dinner party last weekend. went over very well. I acually forgot to add the mozerella, but nobody complained. I used a recipe for garlic butter I found on this site to roll the pieces in, and to toss the pasta with and that worked out great.

Almond Macaroons I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
These tasted really good. But they were FLAT. This is not a macaroon recipe. It is a recipe for almond flavored sugar cookies. If you want a true macaroon beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form, before adding the other ingredients.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
This was very good. Very easy. I made a couple adjustments; I halved the hot pepper- was still very zippy. I added 3 Tablespoons chicken broth. I covered it at the end, and had to cook it more like 12 min, not 5min, but the breasts I used were very thick. I think I might pound them a bit next time. All in all this recipe rocks. It was so quick and easy.

Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream

This is the BEST. So very rich and creamy. You could use 1/2& 1/2 and it would still be very rich.

Spicy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2002
this would have been WAY to spicy for me if I had used all of the red pepper, as it is I used half, and it had quite a kick. I also added some chopped broccoli, and sliced green peppers, at the stir-fry stage. All in all this is a great recpipe. Better than what you might get a most chinese food places.

Tomato Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2002
This is a great recipe. The chops come out very tender. They do not however, need to cook for 30 min, more like 15 min. I used another reveiwers suggestion and soaked them in a brine first. I think that this helped them be more tender, as well as more flavorful.

Cheater Pot Pie

Reviewed: May 31, 2002
Even with all these adjustments this recipe was still very fast and easy. Even though I used reduced fat soups and milk this still came out rich and creamy, but healthy!! Everyone in my family loved it, which is saying alot, they all have very diffent tastes. I will definitly be making this again. Here are the adjustments I made: I used 2 soft ready pie crusts instead of biscuits. I cooked the bottom crust in the heating oven while I prepared the filling. I used 98% fat free cream of chicken soup and 98% fat free cream of celery. I also used 1% milk. I used three bnlss/sknlss chiken breast halves broiled for 5min per side (I just couldn't bring myself to use canned meat, it has no taste, and the texture leaves much to be desired). like I said this is still very fast, add maybe an extra 10 min to broil the chicken. Still very rich with the lowfat ingredients.

Spiced Chicken Loaf

Reviewed: May 17, 2002
This tasted great and it was super easy. I didn't have the stuffing mix so I used plain bread crumbs with ms. dash. Everyone loved it. It was very moist, a nice change for a meatloaf.
