Stuffed Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
Excellent way to make ribs....my mom's also done them this way for years. In a hurry, simply use a box of prepared stuffing, moistened with a little chicken broth.

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
My father-in-law says this is the best salmon he's ever had in his life! I used brown sugar twin in place of brown sugar, as we've got several diabetics in the family. The flavour was still excellent! Thank you for the great recipe!

Golden Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
Excellent recipe, thanks!! I used 3 cups of ready made chicken broth, and doubled the recipe for 4 of us, and we ate it all it was SO GOOD. I omitted the ham the second time, and we liked it even better.

Lemony Steamed Fish

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
I've used this on: salmon, halibut, haddock, bluefish, well, you get the idea. It's great on all of them we've tried. I really just sprinkle each of the spices on both sides of the fish, going a little heavier on the lemon pepper, because that's what we prefer. THANKS!!

Beth's Scalloped Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
This is FANTASTIC!! I've served it for company 3 times, and they all want the recipe! I did add a little garlic powder, some pepper, and a little bit of finely chopped onion. Instead of the crackers on top, I used a can of french's fried onion rings. Thanks for the excellent recipe!

Lemony Fish in Foil

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2004
These "packets" were great. Kids enjoyed putting in the veggies they liked. We also had mushrooms, quartered. On a couple, we added some lemon pepper seasoning, and they were tastier. Served with a salad with oil and vinegar dressing, outstanding!!

French Onion Soup III

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2003
I used 3 large spanish onions for this much broth, forgot the flour and added a bay leaf while simmering. Put soup in bowls, layed toast on top, covered with Parmesan and Mozzarella and broiled to perfection! Thanks for the excellent recipe.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2003
Wish I could rate this one a perfect 10!! I made two in order to feed us all. On one I was more generous with the ranch dressing, and it was by far the better pizza. I also sauteed mushrooms and onions in garlic and sprinkled that over both. Hubby wants green pepper and olives on next time - cant' wait! This was the best pizza I've ever tasted, thanks!

Sunny's Creamy Chicken Pork Chops

Impressed with the flavour, but the chops were tough. Second time, I baked them and they were melt in your mouth good! Thanks for the great recipe.

Chicken Hurry

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2003
I used boneless skinless breasts as that is what I had on hand. Used sugar twin brown to cut down on calories, but not quite the 1/4 cup called for. I served it with potatoes, but my daughter has requested that I make again with rice...and she's the picky one. Thanks for the great recipe.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2003
Used one cup of wine, two cans of soup (cream of wild mushroom as couldn't find golden) and double the cream cheese. Served over spaghetti as that's all I had in the house and the crowd went wild! My pickiest eater said it's a 10 star recipe, not just 5! Thanks.

Gramma's Old Fashioned Chili Mac

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2002
Fried the onions and celery with the ground beef, left out the green peppers (kids don't like them), added 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp chili powder. Not enough to overwhelm the kids, but enough that everyone rated this a six out of five! Thanks for the great recipe.

Shepherd's Pie

I used a can of cream of tomato in place of the celery soup, added a little shredded cheese to the potatoes, and sprinkled a little more on top. This was devoured so fast I almost didn't get any!!! Thanks for the great recipe.

Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2002
Yummy soup, I make all the time with minor changes-no marjoram, add poultry seasoning instead. I also add a handfull of frozen peas, and a handfull of frozen corn when adding the noodles. I also triple the carrots, and use low salt Swanson's broth in the box. Make it whenever someone has a cold......it works!

Jackie's Sausage Soup

I have served this more times than I can count and it's always amazing. I don't use two pots. I brown the sausage in my stock pot and then drain off the grease. Have not had anyone not love it.

We love these potatoes, but have always had to take up space in the oven. Thank you so much for the slow cooker version.....they were delicious!
