Chicken Tetrazzini for a Crowd

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2002
Had no pimentos so I sauted onions, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and the mushrooms. Used one can of cream of chicken and.......the crowd goes wild!!!! Made it for a late buffet at a wedding and it was a hit. Thanks for the great recipe.

Stuffed Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
Excellent way to make ribs....my mom's also done them this way for years. In a hurry, simply use a box of prepared stuffing, moistened with a little chicken broth.

Pita Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2004
WOW! Used whole wheat pitas, left off the oil, sauteed mushrooms and onions with garlic powder in a little butter, and used them. Added diced tomatoes. Fabulous! Did a second time using ranch dressing as sauce, shredded cooked chicken, tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms and cheese. Hubby says best pizza crust he's ever had! Thanks for the great recipe!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
Used frozen berry mix, added a delicious apple just before serving, used no sugar added apricot jam for the preserves, only 1 tbsp of brown sugar twin and no white sugar (more diabetic friendly). Made the tortillas in muffin tins, to create scoops, only sprayed them once, both sides. Excellent, all at the party wanted the recipe!!!

Excellent recipe, thanks!! I used 3 cups of ready made chicken broth, and doubled the recipe for 4 of us, and we ate it all it was SO GOOD. I omitted the ham the second time, and we liked it even better.

Beth's Scalloped Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
This is FANTASTIC!! I've served it for company 3 times, and they all want the recipe! I did add a little garlic powder, some pepper, and a little bit of finely chopped onion. Instead of the crackers on top, I used a can of french's fried onion rings. Thanks for the excellent recipe!

French Onion Soup III

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2003
I used 3 large spanish onions for this much broth, forgot the flour and added a bay leaf while simmering. Put soup in bowls, layed toast on top, covered with Parmesan and Mozzarella and broiled to perfection! Thanks for the excellent recipe.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2003
Wish I could rate this one a perfect 10!! I made two in order to feed us all. On one I was more generous with the ranch dressing, and it was by far the better pizza. I also sauteed mushrooms and onions in garlic and sprinkled that over both. Hubby wants green pepper and olives on next time - cant' wait! This was the best pizza I've ever tasted, thanks!

Best Ever Saucy Beef Kabobs

Reviewed: May 19, 2003
Excellent...I made the sauce, and used 3/4 of it to marinate the steak pieces. Used the rest to baste steak and veggies as they were cooking....made extras to use for lunch next day, only...there were none left.

Pork Roast with Thyme

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
Fantastic recipe. Entire family loved it. I had a smaller roast, so I covered for 1/2 the time, and only cooked for 2 hours. Added onions, carrots, and potatoes to the pot for last hour. Made gravy with cornstarch from drippings which was excellent! Thanks for the great recipe.

Chicken Hurry

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2003
I used boneless skinless breasts as that is what I had on hand. Used sugar twin brown to cut down on calories, but not quite the 1/4 cup called for. I served it with potatoes, but my daughter has requested that I make again with rice...and she's the picky one. Thanks for the great recipe.

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2002
I covered my baking pan, and as a consequence had a lot of sauce, that was very thin. Will definately make this again, but will bake without a cover to thicken the sauce up. Hubby says this is actually a seven star recipe. I did add sliced onions and some garlic powder.

Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2002
Yummy soup, I make all the time with minor changes-no marjoram, add poultry seasoning instead. I also add a handfull of frozen peas, and a handfull of frozen corn when adding the noodles. I also triple the carrots, and use low salt Swanson's broth in the box. Make it whenever someone has a cold......it works!
