About this Cook
Just your average run of the mill southern born and raised half puerto rican. Ive been watching my mother cook for going on 20 years ( wow cant believe i can say that now haha) I seemed to have picked up the cooking gene somewhere along the way im always looking to expand my culinary knowledge and alway always always tryin to experiment with different things I've got radical, far out there ideas and always open to feed back
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking everything but my absolute favorite thing to cook has got to be pork, when prepared and cooked the right way pork can do great things. Low and slow is the way i go when i cook a nice low temperature for an exteded period of time really brings out all the juices and amazing natural flavors of any meat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I was raised eating traditional puerto rican cuisine such as pastellios, pasteles, tostones, arroz gandules, and so much more and then my mother began putting her sourthern twist on everything making the food 4x as good!!!
My cooking triumphs
Rosemary and basil encrusted bone in pork chop...they came out so juicy and the rosemary and basil made a wonderful bark on the out side. also ive been told that when i try and make really spice food i really succeed people tell me : its so hot but so good even though theres a fire raging in my mouth i cant get enough.
My cooking tragedies
the first time i ever made rice........ hahahah oh geeze i cooked it for about 20 minutes ...hard as a rock hahaha i attempted to make a maple glaze chicken but instead of just basting it every once and a while i just drowned it in the glaze and tried cooking the chicken .....oh boy was that a mess hhaha

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin
I made thsi for my family along side a creamy risotto 5 outta 5 for all of us the only problem i had was the sauce, but thats on me cuz i didnt do it right i dont believe so anyway. it was real liduid-like and kinda just cooked in it dint reall "glaze " in my opinion all and all amazing!
