Mary Anne's Carrot Cake

SUPERB!! I tried this recipe because I needed to make two cakes as gifts right away. Very moist!! The first time I made this it was crumbly and a bit greasy. I modified it to just 1 cup of oil, added 1 tsp real vanilla extract and scaled back to just 1 cup raisins. Blend (not stir) the first 4 ingredients then beat mixture for 1 minute after adding each egg, it makes a great difference in the texture. For the "nutty" taste I folded in 1 cup walnuts with the raisins. Pour on a warm buttermilk or creamcheese glaze and YUMMMM!!! I have made it 3 times since and it is quickly becoming a favorite!

Honey's Butter Cake

Mmmmoist and Deeelicious! I cut the 1 cup sugar layer in half and I didn't miss a thing! My husband ate half the cake by himself, and thats a big compliment because he usually restrains himself to a 2 slice maximum. Thanks so much for sharing.

Chicken Alfredo

The easy fix is what makes this recipe a winner. This is barely enough sauce for more than 2 diners and I have to serve 4, so I used 12 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter,1 c milk. I cooked the red peppers with the chicken. I also tossed the broccoli in to cook with the pasta so it would be "easier" on the kids, skipped the zucchini, and topped off w/parmesan.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

An excellent dinner with minimal effort. The second time I made this I added parsley, black pepper and salt to the potato mixture and it was even better than the original recipe. Does NOT make for good leftovers however, but if you make it right there won't be any leftovers!

White Velvet Cake II

This has become an all-time favorite for my family and friends. Royalties due to the creator. Very, very moist and very rich. Even when I goof it up, it is still a scrumptious delight! Note: I scale back to 3c of sugar for the icing.
