Puttanesca I

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
Absolutely delicious! But I reduced the olive oil by around half and added lots more red pepper flakes (I couldn't taste any spice whatsoever with a half teaspoon!), reduced olives (to my taste), and added loads more garlic. I'll definitely be making this many more times!

German Currywurst

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
This made WAY too much sauce and didn't taste like real German Currywurst at all.

Pumpkin Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting (The World's Best!)

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2012
OK, so, I can't edit my old rating so I'll make a new one! These cookies grew on me. My issue with how very soft they were still holds, but they're too delicious not to have 5 stars.

Cedar Planked Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
Holy schlamoly. I made this for my wife's birthday dinner and she and I absolutely LOVED it. It was a wee bit on the oily side, but certainly not enough to detract from the number of stars. We will be reducing the amount of oil used in the future. The vegetable oil, not the sesame oil, that is. Still, this salmon is so good the leftovers may not last through the night. We're supposed to have the leftovers for dinner tomorrow but I may wait for the missus to go to sleep and scarf down the remainder. SO GOOD. Thanks a million for this recipe! It's stuff like this that reaffirms my belief you don't need to pay top dollar for a book to get good recipes.

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Holy schlamoly. Imagine, if you will, my tongue is a person. Tonguey (that's his name) was taken on an all-expenses-paid first-class trip to Flavorville, USA, and stayed at the Delicious Resort and Theme Park. More simply (and less ridiculously) put, this turned out absolutely amazing. I added some extra honey as per others' suggestions, and had an utterly incredible meal. Of particular note: these go GREAT for a meatball sub if you're looking for one a bit sweeter than usual for said sub.
