Iced Pumpkin Cookies

This recipe was really easy and wonderful. I used Maple Syrup in the icing as suggested by the other reviewers and it turned out great. Thanks for giving me a great recipe that I can use even while I am living in Germany!

Braised Chicken Breasts in Tasty Mirepoix Ragout

My husband raved and raved about this one. I also modified the recipe a bit - I halved it for the two of us and then added only 16oz chicken stock and simmered for 30 minutes as suggested by another reviewer. Also, our grocery sells "Mirepoix" already diced in our produce section. If you make this, check and see if your local grocer also provides this convenience :-)

Cuban Beans and Rice

My husband and I both LOVED this dish - very tasty. I added two very large cloves of garlic and that was wonderful. Additionally, it was so much tastier the second day when the flavors had melded that I suggest making it the day before -if you can - and refrigerate it overnight!!!

Green Bean Okazu

I guess this is one of those dishes that you have to acquire a taste for. I had to try it based on the other great reviews, but my husband and I both agreed this would be the last time I would make it - the flavor was very strange. I suggest that if you never had it as a child, make it in smaller amounts to try it first.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Nice recipe, but watch out for the garlic. I do love garlic, but it REALLY gets into the tips. If you are having an otherwise spicy meal, you might want to cut down on the cloves.

Fruit Salad in Seconds

Bella's Rosemary Red Potatoes

I used only olive oil and some cooking spray for a low fat option. I also cooked it 30 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered for a more roasted taste - Awesome!
