Alice Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2002
Yummy! I will definately make this one again. I simplified it a little by searing the chicken in and oven safe fry pan and threw the mushrooms in on top(instead of sauting)and baked at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or so. I think this method keeps the chicken more moist.

Baja Fish Tacos

This was a huge hit, we loved them. They are also very easy to make. We used soft corn tortillas instead of shells.

This recipe comes out terrific and it is simple. I have made it three times in the last month for different events. Everyone loves it. I used it in a grilled chicken sandwich recipe from this site, yummy!

Margarita Cake

I was looking for a denser cake. It was a little to fluffy. Nothing special.

I took this recipe to a dinner party. It was a big success. I made it according to the recipe and used dijon mustard in the dressing. It was delicious.

Strawberry Torte

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2005
I have made the recipe several times and I am making it for a 4th of July get together. It is always a hit. I use fresh strawberries and don't bother with making the strawberry sauce. It makes a beautiful presentation when I pile whole fresh strawberries on top and a mound of fresh whipped cream.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
OK I'm not sure if I have ever tasted the best blueberry muffin... but this one would have to be in the running. I made the recipe as directed with fresh blueberries and used the struesel recipe referenced below with brown sugar. They were yummy! The whole family agrees.

Yummy Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
Yummy! Everyone at our bbq loved it. The only thing I would do next time is cut back on the sugar. I had not heard of this method before and loved the glaze that formed on the cobbler. I will make it again soon since we are having a great blueberry season.

Love the Mama Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
Yummy! The shortbread crust was just what I was looking for and the balance of sweet and tart is just right. I did do as previously suggested and doubled the filling and increased the baking time by 5 - 10 minutes.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

This recipe is very close to what I was looking for. I added one Thai chili with the garlic and fresh cilantro and mint at the end with the green onion. As I prepare it the recipe gets 5 stars. Yummy!

Butternut Squash Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
This was delicious! I would say that it is very rich and as a side dish may be a bit too heavy. I made it for a vegetarian friend and he loved it. The fresh thyme really adds to the flavors. Yummy!
