Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar

I just cut up some fresh strawberries and was looking for a strawberry recipe. I looked at this one and thought NO WAY. I went straight to the kitchen didnt measure threw a little bassamic vingar with some splenda sugar and srinkled with pepper and put over vanilla icecream. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I brought this to my Texas Holdem Poker nite. Everyone liked it. Im on a budget of 20 dollars. So I only used 4 chicken breast, doubled the recipe, added water no beer or chicken broth ( the chicken makes its own in the water) doubled everything else. You need large crockpot. Just threw everything in the crockpot. Took chicken out about 4 or 5 hours later cut it up threw back in. Also added a little cumin and chilli powder next time I will add a little cilantro. Served it with nacho chips. Sour cream and cheese would have been good with it though. Served a crowd and was under my 20 dollar budget. And even after cutting the chiken back there was still a good amount in it.

Quick and Easy 20-Minute Chicken Posole

With a few additons this is really good!!! Never had posole before looked up an accurate recipe and its made with pork or pig ears. I threw everything in crockpot didnt saute nothin. Didnt use oil. Used 6 pieces of chicken,legs and thighs. I pulled the skin off first and boiled it in water for my chicken broth. Added one half squeezed lime, added minced garlic, used cilantro instead of oregano. Added salt and extra cumin. Put crock pot on high came back 5 hours later pulled meat off of bones threw back in. Sitting here eating a bowl that was left over from last nite. Its pretty good.

Authentic Thai Cashew Chicken

I rated it 4 stars but after making changes it was a 5. I doubled the sauce, added extra chilli paste, little cilantro and a big tablespoon of peanut butter and juice of 1 lime. I used the vegetables I had which was fresh mushroom, red and green bell pepper and onions ( lots of them). Added the cashews but it would be good with or without them. Put over rice. Delish!!! Dont think I would call it cashew chicken though!!

The Best Chicken Salad Ever

This recipe is very good. Took suggestions made as is but added pickles and cilantro. Made finger sandwiches out of wheat bread (cuts better than white) and made "Cajun Appetizer Meatballs" off this site. Made as is. Maybe a little less on the cajun seasoning. Took both of these to my Texas Holdem Poker nite Everyone loved both Recipes. Thanks for sharing this recipe I made extra meatballs and saved and putting regular gravy over them tonite with mashed potatoes. I know that will be good also.

Cajun Appetizer Meatballs

I made the recipe as is but used 5 lbs hamb plus 5 times ingredients. Took it to my Texas Holdem Poker nite. Everybody loved them! Also made "The Best Chicken salad Ever" off this site added pickles and cilantro and made finger sandwiches. Huge Hit also!!!

Baked Potato Dip

Very Good dip!!! Took it to a party!! Brought the bowl home empty!! Hamburger barbeque and some people were eating it with a spoon and no chips. Took others suggestions added the Hidden valley ranch dip. Also sprinkled cheese, bacon bits and green onion on top for presentation.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

This was very good!! I added an extra can of refried bean still only using 1 package of taco seasoning next time I will use 2. Didnt have bell pepper so didn't use it. I used my spicy homemade salsa which has lots of tomatoes in it so ommited tomatoes. It was very good. Served it with Chicken Tortilla Soup 1 and a large bag of chips served it at my Texas Holdem poker nite.. Everyone enjoyed!!!!!

Ann's Shrimp Etouffee

I took this to my Texas Holdem poker nite. Everyone loved it. I made this for my Texas Holdem Poker nite. They all loved it. I took some suggestions from others and I used chicken broth instead of water, less water if you halfed the recipe, cajun seasoning, doubled the mushrooms and added small can of tomatoe sauce. I used 2 lbs shrimp and pound of imitation crab meat. Plenty of seafood! Awesome!! Thanks Ann

Thai Salmon Salad

I thought this was very good didnt have the basil so ommitted it. Made it nice and spicey with red chiili thai peppers. Made Pad Thai and this salad my man loved both!!!

Tthis was great. I did add like others suggested splah of soy sauce, peanut butter, fresh lime juice. Doubled the sauce, less noodles than called for and it was wonderful!!!

Spicy Southwestern Slaw

I love spicey foods. I thought this was very good. Deffinitely a change from your normal coleslaw. Going to serve it at my weekly Texas Holdem Poker game with some smoked barbequed Pork sandwiches. I used my food processor to chop everything so easy to make. Thanks for sharing this one!!

Sugar Peanuts

I came across this recipe and looked at it its the same recipe my customer gave me a couple of weeks ago. They are really good. I doubled the recipe. Just poured water and sugar over peanuts over medium heat and stirred and stirred didnt time myself. Like my customer said just keep stirring until liquid is abosorbed. Just be patient and if you keep stirring the liquid will absorb. Throw them in the oven she told me 30 minutes which I did. Very good!!! Just keep stirring is the secret nothin to it!!!!!!

Easy Tuna Casserole

Icalled my man friend at work and said well I have made the dreaded tuna fish casserole. He said I hate tuna fish casserole but I will try it. I said there is frozen pizza just in case. He went for seconds and took left overs to work. I took advice of others put two cans of soup one celery one chicken, used wide egg noodles, a little milk, salt and pepper, a can of green peas and two cans of tuna fish. Made a huge pan. Enjoyed myself!!!

Bob's Thai Beef Salad

I love Thai salad. but I always serve lettuce with the cucumber and white onion any,I also put fresh cilantro over it, other veggies if you like tomatoe, bell pepper with your hot meat and dressing over it along with hot white rice. I use half lime and half fish sauce with how many peppers you want. Drizzle a litte dressing over rice. Serve the salad over the rice. Its good

Restaurant-Style Potato Salad

Very Good!!! My friends loved it. Our friend who always gets credit for the best potato salad recipe. They said it was better than hers. I cut back on sugar. Didnt have carrots or pimentos. I will be making this again!!!
