Slow Cooker Green Chile Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
Made this the other night and it came out great. Made a few changes on the recipe just to spice it up a little bit. Took 1 1/2 lbs chicken and 1 lbs pork and sauted them with the onions and garlic in a saute pan. Seasoned this mixture with fresh ground black and cayanne pepper. Once the pork and chicken were lightly browned I deglaced the pan with white wine and reduced by 1/2. Added this mixture to the slow cooker with the remainder of the ingredients plus 1 14oz can of chicken stock and another sprinkle of cayanne on top. Turned out great and added an extra layer to the flavors of this chili.

Easy Hummus

I love this! It is the perfect base for whatever your taste preferences may be. I like to add a little extra cayenne pepper and top with fresh tomatoes. I can eat the entire thing with a glass of white wine and pretzel thins. Thank you so much for the recipe.

Thai Peanut Noodle Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
Love the peanut sauce. I omitted the sake and it still turned out great. I always substitute reduced fat products and it was still awesome. I used a wok and soba noodles.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
You can totally cut calories on this one by using fat free dairy products. I used greek yogurt, I can't believe it's not butter, reduced fat cheese, and fat free half and half. I couldn't taste the difference but i never use full fat dairy prodeucts. I also froze the potato halfs and reheated them in the microwave followed by a quick broil. THey turned out great!
