Gluten Free Pastry
easy to make but very hard to work with. it was so crumbly, even after adding a bit more water as others suggested. perhaps its because i used gluten-free all purpose flour instead of rice flour? despite how difficult it was to work with, it did taste good (added some cinnamon and nutmeg to my mix). i'll use this recipe again, maybe trying the 1/2 rice flour, 1/2 gluten free all purpose flour combo that someone suggested.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
absolutely delicious! and i don't even like apple pie. i followed other's advice and baked it at 350 for 45min and it came out perfectly. i would recommend doubling the butter/sugar mix so that you have enough to put in with the apples and on top of the pie. don't forget to add cinnamon and butmeg if you're into those flavors because the recipe doesn't call for it. also, made mine with gluten-free crust (the recipe is also on allrecipes) and everyone loved it!

Easy Tiramisu
made this tonight for my boyfriend and he loved it! doubled the recipe like others suggested and was able to get 3 layers of ladyfingers covered (used an 8x8 pan)! i couldn't find any mascarpone cheese so i followed someone's advice and used cream cheese, heavy whipping cream and sugar. also, instead of dipping the lady fingers i spooned 2 tablespoons of a coffee/rum mix over them as someone suggested and totally avoided the whole soggy problem. will definitely use this recipe again. thanks!
