This was awesome! I used the quick and easy Alfredo sauce recipe from this site, and also added spinach and nutmeg to the ricotta cheese mixture. I took it to the "Oodles of Noodles" casserole contest at our county fair, and it won a blue ribbon! So...thank you Sara!

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

I tried this recipe today to bring to my "guinea pig" co-workers. It was a hit! As others have written, I left out the additional salt, and only used 1/2 tsp cayenne to accommodate wimpy midwestern taste buds, and that was the right amount in all our opinions. This recipe is definitely a keeper--thanks Keon!

Salmon Chowder

I'm giving this 5 stars only because I can't give it more! This is DELICIOUS! I didn't make any changes from the original recipe; although I did use home canned salmon from a friend in AK. I'm sure I'll make this again and again!

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

Although I had my doubts before making this, it was delicious! I did add about 1/2 cup barley; otherwise made as directed. It was delicious! (I used the vegetable stock I had made from this site for the base.) Thanks for the recipe!

Real Potato Leek Soup

Really good and easy! I used ramp (wild leeks) and half of the broth was vegetable stock I had 'left-over' from another recipe...Garnished with bacon, scallions, and cheese. YUM! Thanks Ashley!

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Actually 4.5...The only thing I'll change next time will be to add less (or no!) salt. Delicious, and the house smelled so good when I woke up...Thanks 'Mama'!
