Vegetarian Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
Awesome flavor and nice and moist. Everyone loved it. A bit of a pain to make though. It was a bit crumbly too, but not dry at all! I gave it 5 starts because even though it was a pain to make it was still so good. The kids loved it!

Red Lentil Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
This was a good recipe and went over very well at a large group function. It came out a little sticky though, thus the 4 star rating.

A great recipe especially for those who do not a sickeningly sweet pie!

Ginger Spaghetti Squash - Yum!

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
I hate squash but this is sooo yummy! My husband could not eat enough of it. We had this as a side to a pork roast and it was fabulous! Kids will love it too!

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2012
This was a delicious dish! I tripled the recipe to feed a large group of friends, some of whom were vegetarian and some were not. EVERYONE loved the dish! I did add the light coconut milk like others has suggested and I also added it early to help cook the potatoes. I also traded the green peas for edamame to boost the protein! Yum!!

Chicken Curry III

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
Made this dish tonight. It was good, and easy! Not a lot of complexity to the flavor but it was quite yummy. As another person had suggested I too would experiment with adding some other Indian spices to add to the deliciousness next time. I added edamame at the end of the cooking time to add a little color (I HATE peas.) You could add a lot of different veggies. I'm thinking cauliflower instead of potatoes if you wanted to reduce the carbohydrates.

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
I LOVE these cookies! Have been making them since I was a kid. Definitely use real butter with the graham cracker crumb crust. I melt the butter in the pan in the oven as it preheats. No need for cooking spray! Then just sprinkle the crumbs into the melted butter and continue on with your layers!

Easy White Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
This is a great recipe! I did puree 2 of the cans of beans and would recommend that anyone do the same if not more. It is an easy recipe and makes a lot so you can freeze the leftovers! Great with the cornbread too as another member suggested.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
A mediocre dish. Way too sweet. I added veggies to the pan and cooked them in the sauce as another reader suggested too. It is good for the first few bites but eventually the sweetness gets to you.
