Pancake Stack with Syrup

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
My grandkids stayed over and when I tucked them in last night, they requested pancakes for breakfast. This morning I discovered that I was out of pancake mix so, thanks to allrecipes, and this tasty recipe, I full-filled their request and they loved them. The syrup is SO GOOD that it is going down as a family favorite recipe along with the pancake recipe too.

Southern-Style Neck Bones

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2011
I never made neck bones before I tryed this recipe. They were soooo good! The onion helped to caramelize the neck bones as they roasted and they were very tasty! I also roasted potatoes and cabbage with this neck bone recipe. I will be making this dish again!

Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
I made this recipe and it turned out great. I agree, it is a dish that is easy, yet your guest will be impressed with. I added a pict or two of mine on this site. I sandwiched my filling between the wonton wraps and used a wash of corn starch and water as a sealer, then cut them out using a round scollop edge cookie/buscuit cutter. The only spice I used in my filling was a pinch of nutmeg & salt and a little grated parm, corse black pepper and some finely chopped parsley. Don't skip the sage in the sauce...it makes the flavor's pop! I would recomend this recipe, for a side dish or pasta course with pork, a salad or green vegetable & some good bread, for a simple but great meal for dinner guest's or, just for your family!

Tomato-Cornbread Salad with Avocado and Cilantro

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2011
This was very good! I make Panzenella in the summer as one of several dishes that I make to use up those wonderful home grown tomatoes. I'm going to add this to my list! I used a bag of sweet butter cornbread crouton's that I found at the super market instead of making the cornbread from a mix. It saved time and best of all, I didn't have to heat up the oven! The croutons worked just fine I will defanitly make this again.
