My 1st time making Soda bread, and this turned out fantastic. I only used 1 cup of raisins which I had plumped, omitted the caraway seeds, thought that we had some....didn't. Baked for 70 minutes, which was just right for my oven. Earlier I prepped the cast iron skillet and put it out of the way. I realized the error while I was kneading. Had to call my wife in to get the skillet for me she couldn't beleave that gooie mess was going to turn out into bread, and if I hadn't read the ratings here I too would have been adding more flour to make it "look right". Thanks for sharing, will be making this again and before St Pat Day.
