Best Hot Crab Dip

Reviewed: May 28, 2004
I have made this dip at least 3 or 4 times and all my family, friends and coworkers loved it. I pretty much followed the recipe to a "T" but sprinkled on more Old Bay and a little ground red pepper on top before baking. Also, I just served it in a casserole dish with crackers and bread chunks on the side for dipping. I am going to make it again for another family event but I think this time I may add a little horseradish to pep it up even further. Thanks Joelle! You really do know your crabs! Yum!

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
My husband and I love this recipe! I have made it 2 times in the last month and am planning it for dinner tonight! It's so easy! I used bone-in center cut pork chops and deglazed the pan with a bottle of Coors Light beer. My BBQ sauce of choice is Sweet Baby Ray's. So yummy served with buttered noodles. Thanks for a great recipe...this is a keeper!

Crabmeat Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This was great! I used an 8oz container of real crab (claw meat) and eyeballed the rest of the ingredients. I also added a chopped hard boiled egg. This served on a bun was yummy!

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Hubby, a beef man, liked this and said it was a "keeper". I used 4 large chicken thighs and got down and messy with them using 3/4 cup of mayo mixed with 1/4 cup of half & half with garlic powder added. I then coated them with seasoned bread crumbs, not using a baggy, and baked them @ 375 degees on a rack sprayed with Pam cooking spray on a cookie sheet for 45 minutes and then flipped them over for 15 minutes @ 400 degrees while I made rice-a-roni to serve on the side. This turned out to be a very yummy meal and I will make it again! Thanks for a good basic recipe that will be a new family favorite.

Classic Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
I too used regular dry yeast since I did not have RapidRise yeast and used my Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook. I simply let the buns rise longer than the recipe called for and baked. The buns were awesome and my husband could not stop eating them.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2012
This was fabulous! I didn't change too much except I used 4 rib-eye steaks that I had in my freezer, thawed and trimmed of fat. I also added a can of corn after I had the rest of the ingredients in the crock pot. The recipe was great as stands. We had unexpected guests for dinner and they loved it too. It smelled amazing as we were sitting on the lanai with the windows open. I served it with red and white wine and crusty rolls and it was a big hit. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for the keeper recipe!!!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2012
We love this recipe. I have used boneless pork chops with good results. I think any cut of pork would be fabulous and may try country ribs next. This is a family favorite!

Chef John's Easy Apple Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2013
Excellent and easy recipe. I used store bought pie crusts with this recipe and my own pie pan. This is a new favorite. I would not change a thing about the recipe but just added some lemon juice on the apples. YUM!
