I am new to bread baking and very much enjoying not only the fruits of my labor but also the labor itself. You do not have to be an experienced baker or a chemist to make good bread. All you have to do is follow a recipe and learn from whatever mistakes you make. I followed the recipe exactly with great results.
This bread is a good example of a bread that is simple to make and delicous to eat--a perfect loaf for a beginner like me.
The bread is slightly sweet and a little yeasty with a good crumb. A bonus is the fact that this recipe makes not one or two but three loaves, so there is plenty to go around. I understand why it is so highly regarded.
