these are also pretty when you add diced peppers; red & green at Christmas. My favorite added ingredient is chopped cilantro. Love it

Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

I use prepared lemonade (from frozen concentrate) and frozen strawberries in the magic bullet. super easy slush and you can add whatever poison you like. love to garnish w/ limes or lemons. I give mine 5 Big Stars*****

Almond and Soy Nut Power Bars

very good, I substituted more oatmeal for brown rice cereal, and sunflower nuts for soy nuts. I used whey protein powder in place of the milk powder. In place of all egg whites, I used 2 egg whites & 2 whole eggs. these freeze very well. I dbled the recipe & shared with the workout team.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Excellent! I never thought I would Crave cauliflower but this is memorable. I didn't use any parmesean only because I forgot it and instead of salt & pepper used cavenders seasoning. I roasted this uncovered on a large jelly roll pan lined with parchment paper and do not cover it.

Acorn Squash with Apple

Delicious & Nutritious! I microwave the whole squash for about 5 minutes so I can cut it in half and just add the ingredients, makes a pretty presentation. I chop the apples, use craisins, a tsp of cinnamon and a little nutmeg. pecans are also great in this if you don't have walnuts. love it

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Love this, and so easy to customize. I used pears -instead of apples. And I used fresh strawberry-rhubarb jam and skipped the sugar altogether. Still naturally sweet and healthy! Great in the Summer, but colorful for Holidays as well!!

World's Best Lasagna

I've made this for years and Love the recipe. I used cottage cheese (drained well) and I blend it in my processor. I skip the salt, there's plenty of it in the parmesean cheese and sausage. I've often added spinach to it as well. Top it with sliced black olives. Very nice! serve it up with garlice bread & a nice salad. Love a good Cabernet or Merlot with it!

Caramel Popcorn

I've made this so many times in 30 yrs, I gave it 5 stars, but thats with just 1 stk of butter, 1 cup of brn sugar, and 1 tsp of soda. I also pop my corn stove top w/ veg oil. I bake it in a large roaster pan for the same amount of time, stirring every 15 minutes. Super Bowl Must have!!
