Fantastic! Only minor changes were adding one small diced potato, and a little sage, paprika, bay leaf, and two bouillon cubes to veggies and chicken cooked in water. This way I had a good chicken broth to use for her next step already. Just drain that stuff into a measuring cup and voila. Oh, and because I didn't have a pie plate (we are at the "in the apartment between buying and selling and most stuff is in storage) I used a small rectangular casserole dish and just rolled out the refigerated pie doe so it would dit in the dish. Had not problems at all - it probably took me maybe 5 minutes longer to get the browning I was needing, but that's an old oven here is my current world. This is not only a keeper,but will be on a regular rotation here now. This IS my go-to chicken pot pie recipe. Thanks so much! Loved it, loved it, loved it - and best of all everyone else did too!
