Christmas Wreaths
I was a little nervous after reading all the reviews, but they turned out being extremely helpful, and I knew exactly what I was getting myself into...a huge, fantastic, sticky mess! It was awesome! I kept a bowl of water next to me, and that kept my fingers clean. It was much easier (and more enjoyable) than I expected! I made about a dozen small wreaths in 2 batches (cut the recipe in half for each). I used almond extract in one, vanilla in the other...verdict is out. They're both delicious!

Stephanie's Freezer Spaghetti Sauce
Awesome recipe! For those who say it's watery, the trick I use is to boil (then put in cold water) and peel the tomatos, then cut them in half and squeeze out as much of the water as possible, as well as getting rid of the seeds. That should help. Also, for people who are hesitant about adding sugar...it counter acts the tomatoes, and is what gives it more of a "spaghetti sauce" flavor, rather than an overly tomato paste flavor. I usually start by just adding a little bit, and continue to add until it tastes right. I don't think I've ever used 1/4 of a cup, though. Don't be afraid of the sugar! Just some thoughts...love making this!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
Amazing. My fiance and I made these to go with a ham, and they were absolutely delicious! Today, we're taking a triple batch to Easter dinner. Can't wait to see what the family thinks! Also, we used the cheese mix for mac n' cheese a couple weeks ago. Thanks for the great idea!!
