Calico Bean Casserole

I've made this recipie for at least 12 years. My sister in law gave me thier family recipie. This is so easy and hearty that this and a break of french or sour dough roll, or your favorite bread choice. I personally add 1 tablespoon of the vinegar, 1 cup of crumbled bacon, 4oz is not enough and 1 can of Garbanzo beans. So I would say add ingredints to taste and Enjoy.

Sausage Gravy III

I've made Sausage Gravy like this for years. Cant go wrong with this. But for a slightly different taste try adding aprox 2 teaspoons of Worchestershire sauce or more to taste, I use Lea & Perrins, and usually bit more. You might like the unique flavor it gives this hearty meal.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Just made this Friday, 8-27-2010. I followed the directions completely. Not only was this good Friday night, but the leftovers were even better. This was too easy to make and so good, that I am afraid that I will be making this once a week! My sister made it Saturday night after I had her try mine. I share this recipie with everyone! Luv It!

Kae's Turkey Pot Pie

This turned out very well. I followed the recipie, with exception on the crust, used 1/2 butter flavored Crisco shortning and 1/2 real butter. I made 1 small mistake by adding uncooked potato,(2 small yellows cut up) Long Story. But, they cooked ok, but sucked some liquid from the sauce..so the pie filling as it sat thickened. But Flavor was VERY good, Crust was perfect. My two pictures show the completed pie & another with the slice cut out. The sauce was thick and perfect at first cut, but as it cooled it thickened. So to finish the left overs I will be making a separate sauce batch to add to it. Very Good. My veggies added were Potato, carrots, peas, celery.
