Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Pretty delicious, i would say it resembles egg salad a little more than tuna... so since i'm lacto/ ovo I added a couple chopped hard boiled eggs because i wanted to stretch it. I also played with it a little like i would when making egg or tuna salad and added half a green bell pepper i wanted to use up and some chopped green onions that were starting to wilt. Great basic idea and jumping off point to do what you like with.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

I'd give the appearance an A+ and the taste a C+. They didn't stick to the baking sheet and browned up nicely without falling apart when I flipped them and came out looking like nice burgers. The taste was ok, flavor is pretty good really but they lacked in the texture department. It really felt like eating mashed bean paste in a bun because that's what it was. Next time I make these i'm going to cut back on the beans, finely chop and sautee some mushrooms and add some cooked bulgar too. I think these things would add some much needed toothsomeness to the burgers.

Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff

Soooo delicious, not missing the meat at all. Took a couple of pages from other reviewers and added some soy sauce to the cooking mushrooms, would have added worchestershire sauce too if i had it but the soy sauce alone added a good bit to the meatiness of the dish. Also added a couple of small cloves of garlic, a few pinches of dried thyme, and kept the onions and mushrooms in the pan when i added the veggie broth. Next time I'll make a double batch because this went fast and there were arguments over who got more.

Quinoa Tabbouleh

I made a few substitutions out of necessity .. didn't have lemon or vinegar in the house but i do have mild vinegary hot sauce so i used a good bit of that .. came out spicy but not too and delicious. I feel like i must be doing something wrong though because not only did i not find this filling (I ate a good sized cup plus portion) but I felt even hungrier afterwards than before! Still delicious though and even better with age as stated.

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers

I received some ghiardelli intense dark chocolate squares for my birthday and they were a bit dark for eating out of hand but perfect for this. I made as directed except for adding a couple of pinches of cinnamon and one pinch chili powder as flavoring since I didn't have any vanilla. I did use 2 tbsp flour rather than 2 tsp as recommended by some other reviewers.. They turned out luscious... roll my eyes back in my head luscious. Five stars for the cake but four stars for the recipe due to needing the adjustment
