Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
WOW! This was amazing! My in-laws were here visiting from another province and this was the first meal I've ever cooked for them. They LOVED it, everyone cleaned their plates and were full of compliments. Thank you so much, Carol!!

Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
I altered this slightly due to what I had on hand. Instead of potato flakes, I used crushed goldfish crackers with a bit of salt, pepper and italian spice added, and like other users said, I dredged in flour before the egg mix. It turned out amazing! My hubby said it was the best fish I'd ever made (and we eat fish at least once a week, so I've made it numerous ways). Thank you, Kimber!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
As most other posters have said, these were just the best cookies I've ever made. I've also played with flavour combos that worked well. 1) I took a "Terry's orange snowball" - its the white choc orange that comes out around Xmas, froze it for a bit (to firm it up for easier breaking), made it into chunks (best way I found was to separate the sections and use a butcher knife and chunk it that way) and used a butterscotch pudding mix. The combo of the two together is SO tasty. Sweet tho, so maybe a touch of salt could be added, as other posters recommended to cut the sweet a bit. I've also used every combo of choc pudding/white chips, vanilla pudding/dark chips, etc. This is the best recipe to experiment on, it all worked.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2007
I first off want to say that these turned out absolutely perfect. And its thanks to the wonderful reviewers on here, so thanks everyone who does helpful reviews. These are some of the things I garnered from all your suggestions that worked wonderfully: I didnt have shortening, someone suggested canola oil, used that, the chocolate hardened, but not to the point of breaking off first bite, it was perfect. I used the micro, someone said to make sure I stir every 20 secs or so, so as not to burn, so thats what I did, and it melted to a perfect consistancy (I made the mistake last time I tried these , without having looked on here first, and I burned the chocolate, of course..lol). I used white chocolate (yummmmm). I used cold, dry berries, the chocolate was already hardening on them before I even finished the batch. I did the decorative drizzle with a ziplock, but I used milk choc for the drizzle. Looked so pretty too. I didnt follow any measurements, I did it by eyeing it, and I used 4 squares of choc (about 4 oz), approx 1 tsp of canola oil, and about 18 good sized strawberries. It was such a simple but awesome recipe, I'll be making again and again.

Chocolate Chip Meringue Drops

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
These were SO GOOD!! I didn't have cocoa powder on hand so I omitted it, but it didn't ruin the taste at all. They weren't too sweet, just perfect. I am sharing this recipe with everyone I knowm as everyone that has tried then has thought they were bought...Even my hubby "stole" a bag of them to take into his home office. And he doesnt usually eat sweets.

Broccoli and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2003
Hands down the BEST broccoli dish I have tried. My hubby loved it too and the leftovers were gone before the next morning. I followed the other reviewers tips and mixed instead of layering and added the cheese near the end and it turned out perfect.
