This is a favorite! I use an immersion blender to 'cream' the soup just a bit (leaving pieces of potato and asparagus intact) and I use chicken broth instead of the bouillion and water. Perfect topped with homemade croutons.

Halibut Olympia

Garlic Green Beans

The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is the use of canned green beans. I followed the recipe exactly the first time and wasn't impressed with the texture of the beans but the flavor was wonderful. Each time I've made this since then (and I've made these A LOT!), I've used a one pound bag of whole, petite green beans which makes this a five star recipe for my family's preferences. Thanks for such a great flavor combination.

Halibut Weaver

Living in Southeast Alaska means always having halibut in the freezer...a good thing. Finding this recipe for a change of pace from our traditional onion, mayo and sour cream style halibut...a VERY GOOD thing! We pair this with garlic green beans and love every bite!

Restaurant Style Beef and Broccoli

This was amazing!! My husband gave it a 10 on the "taste-o-meter" and wants it to be part of the regular rotation. The only thing I did differently was to use a ribeye steak. Delish!!

Sweet Potato Souffle

This has been a family favorite for years and years. I always make it with pecans and have recently started to reduce the sugar by 1/3 to 1/2 depending on the sweetness of the sweet potatoes. No one can tell!!
