My favorite things to cook
Snacks mostly. Especially things involving period cooking from the mid 14th century forward. Cookies & cakes are my favorites but I also cook a lot of other things just depends on my mood & what is needed.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up an only child so I got to experience everything in the kitchen from an early age - Christmas cookies are still my favorite but the tradition has been lost in recent years as I had no room to do them in my last two residences. Summer grilling and cooking for family & friends for game nights is my new one.
My cooking triumphs
I can do cheesecake pretty well I just don't do it often. I've helped on a kitchen staff cooking a 6 course meal for over 50 guests once or twice. I've taken cake decorating classes so that's another big accomplishment - I did that at age 13.
My cooking tragedies
Hmm not really any thing in particular that stands out as extremely horrid most of my adventures have been favorable. Probably a failed fish experiment when I was in my late teens and cooking for my parents.
