These are delicious! In the muffins, I used half whole wheat flour, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. I replaced the butter with applesauce. I added chopped walnuts and an extra 1/8 tsp. cinnamon to the topping, which was more than enough for 12 muffins. Next time I think I'll take the advice of other reviewers and sprinkle the topping on after about 14 min. of baking so it remains more crumb-like and doesn't sink into the batter. Even after the "healthy" changes I made, the muffins are moist and some of the best I've ever tasted!
