Banana Banana Bread
This recipe produces a wonderfully moist banana bread. Its great with All Day Apple Butter (also from this site). Sometimes I'll add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter - YUM! Freezes well; I just slice it before freezing for ease when thawing.

All-Day Apple Butter
This turned out great. I used 4 red delicious applies and 4 granny smiths. I only used about 2.5 cups of sugar, and also added about a teaspoon of "pumpkin pie spice". I put it in the crockpot at about 8pm, cooked it on High for 2 hours, then Low overnight. In the morning, I took the lid off and cooked it for a few more hours until it was the right consistency (see notes on testing for doneness from other reviewers). This recipe gave me 4 half-pint jars of delicious apple butter.

SOOOO much better than store-bought. Instead of butter, I lightly brush my bread with light olive oil and sprinkle it with whatever sounds good (I try to stay away from the salts - garlic salt, onion salt, etc.) since we don't need the extra salt when they taste so good!
