Homesteader Cornbread

Chicken Fried Chicken

Wow. Very good. My favorite fried chicken on this site. I did add seasonings however, salt, more pepper, paprika, italian seasoning, onion/garlic powder, emeril's seasoning.

Chicken Tetrazzini for a Crowd

Awesome. I boiled chicken breast in chicken stock while preparing the pasta. I modified a little - I sauteed the mushrooms with chopped onions and a little minced garlic until carmelized. This dish is very good even the next day. Great crowd pleaser.

Awesome. I chopped up a candy bar instead of morsels because thats what I had on hand. This is so good. Remember the more ripe the banana the better the bread.

Very sweet. I forgot to listen to other reviewers who suggested cutting back the sugar to 1/4 c. I will definitely make next time with less sugar than this will get 5 stars. The topping is yummy.

After making modifications I would rate it a 5 star. I added more chili powder, cumin, sazon seasoning, cayenne, added a little bit of pasta shells and used 1 can of black beans.

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

I'm rating this based on my modifications. I used more broth than boullion cubes due to salt control. I browned the beef in a skillet, added wine to the beef bits and reducted a bit with some chopped onions, added flour and cooked until starch flavor is gone, added 2 bay leaves, garlic and onion powder, garlic pepper, italian seasoning and put all other ingrediants in a crock pot for 5 hrs on low. Delish.
