Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
Oh my gosh, we love this soup! I used the 1 pound role of Jimmy Dean sausage. I omitted the zucchini and added a cup of chopped (FRESH not frozen) spinach. The spinach gave it good color and even my children (who dislike spinach,) loved this soup! I also did what others suggested and added a can of diced tomatos (with the juice)instead of the whole, fresh ones. We didnt have tortellini in, so I added shell noodles. Any pasta noodles will do fine with this soup. This is definitely a keeper recipe. So easy to make!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I lost my regular recipe for prime rib and found this on allrecipes. i have never written a review, but this recipe I just had to! It was AWESOME! This is not too much garlic. After I slathered on the marinade, I got course sea salt and pressed it over this mixture. I put it in the oven for 15 min at 500 degrees and then lowered to 325. I cooked a 12 pound roast at 15 min per pound, and let it sit for 15 minutes when I took it out. If you like a salty crust, I recommend patting sea salt over this. Totally, awesome!

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
This is a true Irish recipe that my Mothers family (all from Ireland) have made for generations! I like to add 1 1/2 to 2 beers, because it makes an unbelievable gravy!

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2002
I tried several caramels for my batch. If you use Nestle Treasures, they will cut down quite a bit the number of cookies you will make because they need so much dough to wrap around the candy. There are christmas candies out called "Milky Way" caramels. (I found mine in the candy isle at Walmart) they use a bit of dough as well, but I found them the most tasty. Also, there is a bag of rolo's in the regular candy isle at Walmart, that has at least 75 in it. ,,,,, I personally like the Rolos. The cookie is so rich that it really is just the right size with a Rolo. Also, if you overcook the cookie, the caramel will melt outside a little.. It tastes just as good. They are a chewy-fudgy brownie like cookie. Great for Santa to have with a cold glass of milk!

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: May 20, 2002
My husband said this is in the "TOP 3" best recipes that I have ever made! My neighbors loved it too! I added a little heavy cream as well. Also I added a tablespoon of flour to a little cold water, mixed it and added it to the sauce in the end, thickening it.. We had to make sure we enjoyed this right down to the last drop!!
