Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
I'll never understand why some people have to be so mean... We love this recipe and have been using it for years! We don't change a thing but if you want to reduce the sweetness, just use less sugar. If you are from the south and are used to not having sugar in your cornbread then go find a different recipe. We ARE from the south and still enjoy the sweet cornbread. Thank you dearly for sharing such a loved recipe. The number of high ratings and the sheer standing of this recipe should speak for itself.

Dee's Dark Chocolate Granola
Wonderful recipe! Thank you for sharing. Only thing I changed was real butter in place of the spread. Super easy and delicious. Mine was perfect after 15 minutes of baking. Baking the chocolate chips and then stirring when taken out of the oven makes wonderful chocolate granola nuggets.

Ye Ole Gingerbread
Thank you for a delicious and moist recipe that made my house smell wonderful while it was baking. For those of you asking questions about golden syrup: Golden syrup, like molasses, is a product of the process of refining sugar. It is simply sugar cane juice that has been boiled down. It has the consistency of corn syrup, but a golden color and a taste different from either light or dark corn syrup, and also substantially different from its cousin, molasses. This recipe is unlikely to taste as good without the use of honest-to-goodness golden syrup, but if you must, you can try substituting it with 2 parts light corn syrup and 1 part molasses or equal parts of honey and light corn syrup. You can purchase Lyles Golden Syrup on Amazon.com if you can't find it in local stores. Hope this helps.
