Hillshire Farm® Sausage Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2014
I liked how simple it was to prepare and how quickly it was ready. I used spicy sausage which was a great complement to the sauce. I also sauteed some onion along with the sausage. It made a good amount for 2 people with 3 or 4 servings for left overs. I will add peas in it the next time I prepare it to give it a little color (and I love peas in Alfredo dishes). You can add almost any of your favorite spices or vegetables to suit your taste.

Slow Cooker Italian Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2013
This was very good! The only thing I forgot was to add some peas as mentioned in another review. I love Alfredo with peas. But while cooking it made the house smell so good. Will be making this again.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
This was a very easy chili recipe! I also threw in a red bell pepper that I had in my fridge. Made lots of left-overs, too.

Slow Cooker, Easy Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
This soup was so delicious! I had some spicy sausage links in my freezer I wanted to use so I sauteed it with the onion, garlic, and bacon. I also used fat-free half-n-half and couldn't tell the difference. My partner says it's a winner and to make it more often.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2012
I did not find the flavor that good. I think it was the Lipton Soup mix that turned me off (have never used/tasted it before). But what I found wonderful was having it as leftovers. Not sure why but after being in the fridge overnight and re-heating it I liked it more.

Amazing Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
This was very yummy! And I like that it's not from a box but all scratch ingredients. The only problem I had is I cooked it for longer than 3 hours because it was still wet on the top. This made the bottom section of the cake tough. But the rest of it is great. I'll trust the 3 hour time limit next time.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
This turned out very well. I wish I had read some of the comments before trying it and let it rise on the baking sheet instead of the cutting board; one of the loaves deflatted somewhat when I moved them to the sheet. But otherwise it turned out very tasty!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
This is a great, simple white bread recipe for the bread machine. I did take the advice of another reviewer and added the extra half a teaspoon of salt to the recipe. It turned out perfectly. I loved letting the yeast dissolve and activate at the start. There's nothing like that smell to let you know you'll have fresh bread in a few hours.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
This was my first time making cookies and this recipe was very easy. I did refrigerate them overnight which made them a little harder to get out of the metal mixing bowl the next day, but they came out great!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
This was a quick easy meal to make and pretty tasty. As a personal preference I would cook my own chicken instead of using canned. I also served it with a Mexican Corn Bread recipe which was a perfect side dish.

Mexican Cornbread II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
This was really easy to make and tasted very good. The only issue is mine came out more like corn pudding than corn bread. Next time I will add another 5-10 minutes to baking.

Bewitching Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
Very good chili. I did make a few changes. Since we don't like soupy chili I left the tomato juice out and substituted a half cup of water. I could not find condensed beef broth at the store, only regular beef broth so used that. The only other addition was of some shredded cheese to put on top with the sour cream.
