Chicken Cordon Bleu I
my family loved this, especially little sisters. I am not the biggest fan though.. I didn't add the extra pat of butter or salt on the chicken the second time I made it and I still found it to be quite salty. I did use an egg wash (first time with yolk, second time without yolk to try to bring down the saltiness) but it was still a bit salty for my taste. Could be the ham, not sure.

Chicken Gruyere with Sauteed Mushrooms
Simple and tasty. I read the reviews before trying the recipe out and added a few things to "kick it up a notch." Just for something different I sauteed the onions and mushrooms with chopped up ginger root. I baked everything in the oven like it says but added sliced up apple in the dish while everything baked. Everything was in the oven for just over 20 minutes and that seemed to be perfect. I found that it's not necessary to serve on rice considering the chicken with everything on it is already quite filling. I had chopped up veggies on the the side. Next time I'll probably try using a cooking oil instead of all the butter.
