Rosemary Potatoes with Roasted Heads of Garlic

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2014
I wanted to like this recipe, but it wasn't anything special. It took a lot longer to cook than 45 minutes, but I lost track of how long I ended up leaving them in the oven (maybe a total of 2 hours?). There wasn't much in the way of taste in the potatoes, and I'm not too sure what, if anything, the white wine did for them. Since the garlic did cook perfectly, I went ahead and squeezed it into the potatoes and mixed it all in. The end result was ok. I paired this with he "Quick Chicken Marsala" recipe here on the site, which was perfection! Photos added.

Quick Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2014
5 stars! I seasoned the chicken with a some salt and pepper before browning. This recipe is so incredibly simple but packs so much taste! Will absolutely make this again. Something the recipe doesn't indicate is that you have to remove the lid at some point to let the sauce thicken. Next time, I'll time it better so that the chicken doesn't overcook. Excellent flavor! Bacon-Roasted Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2014
I loved the idea of the recipe... but next time I'll probably make my own mix of spices. Granted, I seriously messed up by adding the entire seasoning mix to the potatoes, but in the end, the spice mix was not my cup of tea. The chicken turned out ok. I used the idea from one of the reviews to place the chicken on a rack on top of the potatoes (which saved it from the seasoning mix overload). Photos added.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
Excellent! Grilled on my George Foreman grill and it was great. I can't wait to try on BBQ. I used the same marinade to make some chicken as well and it turned out as good as the shrimp. Posted photos of both chicken and shrimp.

Chicken Breasts with Olives

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
Didn't have tarragon so I used thyme. Recipe turned out well. Olives absorbed garlic taste wonderfully. I had a hard time getting the chicken to brown while on the stove as I was being careful not to burn the garlic. Still, turned out great.
