Jeweled Thumbprints

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
YUM yummmmm I am eating one of these right now!!! I have made these twice. It worked out really well to refrigerate the dough before I baked these. I have kept a log-o-dough wrapped up in parchment ready to place on the cookie sheet and jam up. This is what I have had for breakfast all week! Well, they have fruit in them right? Great recipe!

Classic recipe! I threw in some vanilla bean and dried blueberries instead of the apple pie spice. Really fluffy and tasty!

Rhubarb Custard Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
Wow~ Great pie. Very easy to make and super delicious! I added 1 Tbsp of tapioca to avoid the runny fruit problem and made mini empanada pies out of the filling. Really wonderful flavor!

White Chocolate-Macadamia Nut Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
LOVE these! So easy to make. Yeah, they are a little dry when you are folding in the good stuff but, once they bake the texture is just right. I added dried cherries. Flip out!! These cookies are the real deal!!

Sourdough Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
This is a great recipe. I also discovered something cool quite by accident! I left the sugar out until it was time to punch. So I kneaded it in and my loaves rose faster then they normally would. I think this bread could use a little more salt, but it was still yummy. The texture is really fantastic and I dig the clear directions. Good stuff!
