Tropical Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
I made this based on the reviews, but my family disagrees completely that this was a very good recipe. Taste just wasn't that grand. My 6 year old only liked that it had pineapple in it. I don't know how thick the pork chops were in this persons dish, but we used a good 1 1/4" thick chops and in 14 minutes total they were already dried out on a 4 heat setting. Unfortunately, this recipe for us won't make it to the "make again" box.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
My family thought this was a fabulous soup. Very tasty and healthy ingredients overall. I always make the recipes exactly as they read the first time. I was very happy with it, but next time I will just try some plain shaped pasta because we really aren't into the cheese filled tortellini. Other than this future change, it was very delicious. Will be making it again!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
We thought this soup was awesome! Since we like a little thicker milky consistency, I confess, I used 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1 1/2 cup of half and half. Oh...and I added 1/2 a stick of butter, otherwise stayed true to the recipe. It was tasty!!

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Loved this! So simple, yet so tasty. We want to eat this again for sure. We agree with the others who rated this for using 1/2 the butter in the recipe and cooking some time covered and some open for browning. We thank the cook who shared this.

Balsamic Chicken with White Beans and Spinach

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
I stayed true to the recipe but the entire family did not want this again. We didn't think the beans went well with it at all. The chicken didn't have much flavor. If I attempted to do this recipe at all again. I would marinate the chicken awhile before hand in the garlic and vinegar and maybe replace beans with a nut, possibly cashews which would let a sweetness in. The only thing we liked was the spinach part which went well with our white rice.
