Vernita's Broccoli Casserole

Very good; will make again. Used instant brown rice, and because I was rushed used dried minced onion and added a bit of freeze dried garlic. Leftovers were just as yummy. Leftover chicken would be a nice addition.

Southwest Baked Chili Dip

Delicious as written, I'm sure, but made 3 changes based on ingredients on hand: Used half cheddar, half pepper jack. Subbed mild green chilis for jalapenos. Left out hot pepper sauce. This was the first appetizer finished, and there were many recipe requests. Many thanks, Ingrid!

Slow-Cooked White Chili

Made this recipe as written but for subbing grated Vidalia onion for dried, not precooking the chicken, and cooked it on high for 5 hrs. Topped with jack cheese and sour cream. Very flavorful! Don't cut back on the beans! We loved it and will make again. Thanks for sharing, SKW!

Sizzling Sherry Shrimp with Garlic

We really wish we hadn't wasted shrimp and scallops in this recipe :( We enjoy spicy, but the heat of the red pepper flakes was all you could sense, and that's with using a scant teaspoon! Unfortunately, we couldn't taste the garlic, the dry sherry, the seafood, or anything else.
