Elegant Lemon Pork Chop Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2002
I used bone-in chops I had on hand and it was good. I was a little disapointed in the amount of sauce it made, it expected it to be like a gravy. We had guest over the night I made it, they didn't say much but my somewhat picky husband and I enjoyed it, I will make it agian, it was easy!

Baked Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2002
This was a very easy soup to make, and I enjoyed it. Mine turned out a little thick, so 2 days later, I added more potatoes and a little more milk and whipped them into mashed potatoes, then served them with the cheese and bacon as toppings, it was great too!

French Toast Waffles

Reviewed: May 8, 2002
I thought these were a great change to plain waffles. I will be making these again. We are having company for the weekend soon and I will add these to our brunch menu. Even my husband enjoyed them and my nine month old ate them too!

Black Bean Pinwheels

Reviewed: May 13, 2002
I thought this recipe was ok, I don't think I ground the beans up enough, they were a little hard. I added garlic powder to the cheese mixture instead of the onion salt, and just realized I didn't add the sour cream to the mix, but that part of the wraps turned out great (the cream cheese, jack cheese and garlic powder), I will use that as a spread for crackers at a party I am having soon. I might try this recipe again and make sure I get the beans well ground.

Busy Night Turkey Taco Soup with Avocado Cream

Reviewed: May 22, 2002
I followed the general idea of this recipe with a few changes. I used creamed corn, because that's what I had and I used a can of Rotel instead of salsa, again, what I had. And I used chicken. But I thought it was a nice soup. I served it with grilled cheese. I will be sure to keep this in my collection for quick dinners or to use left over chicken. I mad it with beef too, worked great! Thanks for this recipe!!

Cola Chops

Reviewed: May 24, 2002
My husband and I loved this!! Only regret, I didn't make more sauce. I cut the recipe down to only serve 2. I added some garlic. This was actually very close to the Elgant Lemon Pork Chop Bake I found on allrecipes. Will definately make this again. Next time will add lemon though. My husband and I enjoy the flovor the lemon adds to pork chops! Thanks for this recipe, it was soooooo quick and delicious.

Slow Cooker Tipsy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2002
Easy recipe, but not what I expected. Not quite sure what I expected but this wasn't it. I think I thought it would be creamer, it was soupy. I might make it again, but not often.

The Best Marinade Around

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2002
Great recipe!! Thanks! I have used it on tougher cuts of meat and they were great. I will probably never make steaks without this marinade again!! I wanted to add to my review...we almost ALWAYS use this for pork chops and call it "fake steak" it is MUCH cheaper to do than steaks all of the time. We LOVE it!!

Mock Champagne

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2003
I thought this was a great and easy punch and it made a lot. We ended up with leftovers because we had a small crowd. My husband and I froze half of a 2L of Ginger Ale in ice cube trays and the other half we left in the bottle and froze. Then we cut the bottle away and floated that in the punch. It didn't look as pretty as ring might of, but our round (fluted) cake pan is two parts and we figured the ginger ale would run out. After the frozen giger ale thawed, it turned the punch slushy and made it even better. I will definatley make this again!!

OH MY GOODNESS! This was great! I only had chicken quarters, so I mixed this up and stuffed it under the skin. It was delicious. I love feta and spinanch together and this was a wonderful combo. We have fresh spinach on hand often and I will be adding this to one our regulars. Thanks...it was GREAT!!

This was wonderful. I have never made brats before and am not at all fond of beer. I was so surprised. I used 3 beers and 1/2 a cup of butter. And I also used prepacked bratz but I couldn't get over how wonderful this was!! Even my picky 2 year old ate almost a whole one by herself! THANKS!!!!!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2003
This was great. I changed it up a little. I used the suggestions of others and mixed a can of cream of celery and sour cream. I spread some of that mixture on the pounded chicken breasts and then but my ham and cheese. I had a lot of that mixture left and no cheese left so I covered my rolled chicken in the soup mix and then bread crumbs. It was wonderful. It made a great sauce for the chicken and rice I served it with. This is a definate keeper!!! Thanks so much!!

Buttermilk Seed Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2003
This recipe was Wonderful. I only used sunflower seeds (about 8 TBS) cause that was all I had. And I used 1 percent milk and vinegar (for the buttermilk) as I always do since I always have those two items on hand. I took one loaf out of the oven and put it right into the frezer so it could cool and we could have it for dinner. My husband and two year old also loved it. I will definately make it again, next time will use the diffrent seeds. Thanks so mcuh for this GREAT recipe!

Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2004
This recipe was very good! I used cream of mushroom soup, as others had advised. I forgot to add the onion. And I also tried to cook in my Pampered Chef deep-dish baker. It turned out a little too creamy for my taste. I think next time I make it I will put it in a larger pan so some of the soup cooks out. I made it while my parents were visiting and it was the ONLY thing that I made that they ate ALL of!! It didn't last long. My husband and two year old also loved it! We will surely make this again!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2004
This was ok. Good flavor, but mine was really thin, maybe my pan was bigger than 9x13. I added onion, as suggested by others and regular yellow mustard, since I didn't have any ground mustard. I might make it again, but not too often, it wasn't as big of a hit as I expected. I would also try bread stuffing or something as suggested for more flavor.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
These were great. My mom always made wonderful busicuits, but I never learned before moving out. This was my first real attempt at making them and it was great. I used All purpose flour and omitted the salt and baking powder and used butter for the shortening, thats all I had on hand. They weren't HUGE, but I think I rolled the dough too thin. All in all, they were really good, will be adding to my recipe box for many more uses!! Thanks for this recipe.
