Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
This turned out fantastic!! Here are the modifications I made : I used only a 2.5lb half turkey breast. I still used a full envelope of onion soup mix, drizzled some olive oil on top, added 1/4 cup chicken broth, oregano and a bunch of fresh, minced garlic. I cooked it for 1 hour on high, then for 3 1/2 hours on low. Fall apart in your mouth delicious! Serves probably 4 or 5 really hungry people. Served with peas and stuffing and cranberry sauce for a late thanksgiving feast.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
So very very delicious... exceeded expectation!! That morning, those porkchops were SO OLD and covered in freezer burn. But this recipe really blew my mind! The sauce is perfect! (I transferred it to the stove top though and used corn starch instead of flour.)

No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2011
As it turns out, I got the chance to use up a lot of canned foods I had lying around for this recipe - what a hit!! I used cream of mushroom and a can of turkey gravy. I used chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts, and two small onions (as recommended by other users) sliced thick on the bottom and on top of the chicken. I added a bit of milk to the liquid mixture, and a strained can of diced tomatoes. I didn't add the sour cream at the end (I forgot :/) and then I served it with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes! Everyone loved it! Very filling! I cooked it on high, and it was perfect right around 4 1/2, 5 hours. I will definitely make it again!

Lemon Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
These turned out very tasty! I did as others suggested and I used a LOT less sugar - about 3 tbs. I also added some paprika to the lemon sauce, and some red pepper flakes for some kicks! :) after the last 5 minutes of cooking, they were perfect! so tender and juicy! I will definitely make these again!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
The recipe definitely needs spices! i used all sorts of things, much like everyone else did. It's true! You can't taste the mayonaise one bit! Unfortunately I used a bit too much cayenne pepper in mine and it was SO SPICY!!! But it is delicious and 30 minutes is the perfect bakingn time. definitely making again!

Potato-Topped Meat Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
A nice pseudo-shepherds pie! I added fresh parsley and shredded cheddar cheese. DO NOT skimp on the Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs or on the garlic! The flavor isn't the same without it! I did that unfortunately, but hot sauce makes everything better I suppose :P

This soup seemed like a battle of the week flavors. All the flavors were very delicate. The soup is DEFINITELY better the second day.
