Wow, I wasn't sure how these were going to turn out, but W-O-W!!!! I did strawberry cake and frosting with chocolate coating and they were very delicious and refreshing! Can't wait to try different combinations!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
Wow, these are SOOOOOO good! I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out wonderfully. Next time I'm going to lightly dust the donuts with flour and set them on parchment before I let them rise the second time to help minimize sticking.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
These are the best coconut shrimp I've ever had! I recommend getting the colossal sized shrimp. Also put them in the freezer again for half an hour or so before frying them...PERFECT!

Jalapeno Snacks

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
I would rate this recipe higher if I could! These are absolutely amazing. As some other reviewers suggested I soaked the peppers in ice water for a few hours. I also put a wire cooling rack on top of a baking sheet and baked the peppers on that so the bacon would crisp up all around and so the grease would drain off. The result was one of the best appetizers I've ever tasted!

Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
Will definitely be making again! If you make your own crust, make sure and pre-bake it for like 7 minutes before you put on your sauce and toppings to make sure it gets done all the way. The combination of the marinara and BBQ sauce is wonderful! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
WOW! This was delicious! The cream of chicken soup really helps with the flavor. Ok I did make a couple of adjustments as far as seasoning goes that make it even better than it already is. To your flour mixture add 1 packet of Good Seasons Italian dressing mix and 2 T tomato boullion...this will give you a very robust, flavorful chicken! I will definitely be making it like this from now on!

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
Ok, I'm not giving this the full 5 stars because mine turned out just a tad bit on the dry side. I think it is a good place to start but definitely needs some improvements: I coated the chicken breasts in olive oil, put salt and pepper on them, and baked them at 350 for about about 40 minutes, then I cubed them. I sauteed the onion in sesame oil. I fried a couple of pieces of bacon and crumbled them in at the end. I also added frozen peas, carrots, and some fresh mushrooms and sprinkled on some green onions for garnish...YUMMO!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
I like to make 100% sure that my crust is done and a no-fail way to do that is to partially cook the crust before you put on the toppings. I always cook it for about 7-10 minutes for a thin crust and about 15 for a thick crust. If you put on the alfredo sauce right after the crust comes out of the oven it spreads much easier, also. A delicious recipe!

Cake Mix Cookies VII

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
These are delicious and sooooo simple. I did a yellow sugar-free cake mix with chocolate chips. A friend of mine used to make "ying-yang" cookies-half white and half chocolate- and they were so so yummy!

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
My family really liked this recipe. I thought just the chicken by itself without the sauce was pretty good, but the sauce was just a bit much for my taste, but I'm not much on vinegar so that's probably why!

Sausage Pasta

Simple and delicious! I love one skillet dishes and I think this is going to be one of my regulars. I used mild ground Italian sausage but kept everything else exactly like the recipe said.

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
I thought these were pretty good! The only thing is I think next time I might saute the garlic a little bit before I mix it with the meat so it's a little bit softer. I wasn't able to grill them due to the weather so I just cooked them on a griddle so they were a little greasy, but I'm sure cooking them on the grill would solve that problem. Overall a very good recipe!

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Delicious, Mouse!!! My whole family LOVED it and they normally don't like homemade mac & cheese. I made this exactly like the recipe said. I couldn't find a block of American cheese so I used 8 oz worth of the sliced American cheese and it worked just fine =) I'll definitely be making this again!

Whole Wheat Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
I loved the flavor of the pasta. I had to add just a little bit more water than the recipe called for, but be careful and don't add too much! The more you work the dough the more moist it will become!

Tiny Pecan Tarts

WARNING!!! These are extremely addictive! I seriously could not stop eating them when I made them for Thanksgiving and neither could the rest of my family. Definitely one of my favorite recipes! I only make half of the filling...it is more than enough.
