I love making homemade noodles. I also love making different kinds of cookies.
My cooking triumphs
ONe of my favorite dishes that I've made is homemade whole wheat noodles with brined, grilled chicken, topped with homemade alfredo sauce!
My cooking tragedies
crab cakes...oh my word they were horrible!

Toddler Muffins
These are absolutely amazing! I use 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup all-purpose and I also replace 1 of the eggs with 1 tbsp flax seed + 3 tbsp water.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
This is definitely my favorite recipe for roast chicken! I have made it 3 times now and every time it has come out moist and perfect! It only took about 3 1/2 hours for mine to be cooked through...definitely watch it and make sure to not over cook it. The seasoning is perfect! I have tried it with and without white pepper and it was delicious either way. Also I did what another reviewer said and rolled a couple pats of butter in the seasoning and put them under the skin on the breasts...sooooo yummy!

Mexican White Cheese Dip/Sauce
FINALLY!!!! I've been trying for SO long to make this like my fav Mexican restaurant!!! You MUST, MUST use white American cheese! White American is NOT Monterrey Jack as I once thought it was...it is the processed kind of cheese. You can get the Land 'o Lakes brand at the deli counter, OR you can get the sliced pre-packaged cheese which I found just next to the regular American cheese slices. It is much cheaper to just to the slices in my experience. Instead of cayenne pepper, I just used a tsp. of chili powder and it was perfect. LOVE THIS! If you're using it for a sauce as opposed to a dip, you'll definitely want to thin it out with a little more milk. I put this over Chicken Flautas from this website...SO YUMMY!!!
