Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2015
This was a great recipe and full of flavor!! Like other reviewers stated, was a bit salty. Would definitely recommend cutting down on the amount of sodium where you can whilst making this. I will be making this again in the near future!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
Discovered the recipe this morning, purchased the ingredients this afternoon, cooked it this evening. Made per instructed, changed nothing. If you like flavor...this is a soup for you! This was fantastic! My wife said it had a good kick (a bit too spicy for her, but I might have used an Italian sausage that was too spicy). I absolutely loved it! Full of flavor and delicious vegetables! I LOVE soups and this has become one of my favorites immediately! Thank you for posting it! I will definitely be cooking this often!

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2014
I made this a few nights ago. First off, I did NOT make it according to original posted recipe. I read many reviews before making. Essentially, I made my own 'recipe' using the original as a base to jump from. It was a good meal. Taking suggestions from other reviewers I made the following changes: Used a jar of thick & chunky salsa instead of tomatoes; lined the bottom of the casserole dish with re-fried beans and some cheese before adding meat mixture; added black beans into the meat mixture for color and flavor; used medium sized shell pasta instead of elbow macaroni; used taco seasoning according to package, NOTE: if you do that, be sure to add another seasoning pack as directed in original recipe ('taco' flavoring was 'lost' in the mix of everything else); did NOT add tortilla chips before baking, added them after cooking to keep crunchy; added some black olives on top with shredded MEXICAN flavored cheese; only cooked in oven for about 15 minutes; topped with shredded lettuce, sour cream, & taco sauce before eating. Essentially, almost an entirely different recipe. It was good and filling. Even our three year old ate it. Will make again, but will assuredly add that second taco seasoning pack in the mix for more flavor.

Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2014
This was a delicious dish! I didn't alter too much from the original recipe, but I did use fresh spinach instead of the frozen and used bulk Italian sausage. I feared the sauce was going to be a bit too thin while cooking so I added a Tsp of corn starch to thicken it up a bit. This recipe is DEFINITELY staying in my rotation!!

Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
First off, my local grocier did not have the Lemon & Herb cooking creme. So, I used the Savory Garlic cooking creme instead. I just finished cooking and eating this meal. WOW! Was so very good! My wife absolutely LOVED it! Really full of flavor! Next time I make this, I WILL hunt down the Lemon & Herb cooking creme to try it in it's original form. Super easy to make, so full of flavor!

Cooked this the other night for the first time. It was absoluetly delicious! The only two things I did different was used regular smoked sausage and used a 'Chipotle' salsa. Just fantastic recipe and full of flavor! Very filling too! Will keep this in rotation....

This is a great and easy side! I enjoyed it, but it needs more flavor! I'm all about flavor! I'll be using this recipe alot, but I'm going to experiment with it to give it more kick! Was easy to make and was good.

Broccoli Hamburger Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This was truly a delicious recipe! My wife and I loved it! I only added two things: 2 tsp. minced Garlic and Worchestershire sauce (to taste). This was done while browning the meat. Only thing I changed was adding the cheese halfway through cooking time. This eliminated the 'overcooking' of the cheese. I also had NO problems with the broccoli being overdone. I put it in frozen and it came out perfect with a bit of crunch still in it! Overall, this really had great flavor and was asked to be cooked more often! Loved it!
