Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2006
This was really good! Unfortuately, I forgot to add the orzo, but it was still really good. I will make again with the orzo. I also browned my meatballs before i added them to the soup. I did not add the escarole either; when I got to the store and saw what it looked like, I was not too sure about adding a lettuce type veggie to my soup. I made it with "Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches"(from this site). The combo was awesome together.

Sombrero Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
This was great! I will make this again and again. REVISION: I had to wing it tonight, I did not have fajita seasoning so I used onion powder, cumin, paprika, a bit of cayenne, oregano, and sugar...they smell great. I will have to wait and see how they come out. At the end I added some lime zest and the juice of one lime. Oh yeah, I also cooked it in my electric skillet. I turned it all the way up so that I could get a good browning on the chicken. I served this with Terry's Texas Pinto Beans also from this site and some Spanish rice. YUM-O

Triple Dipped Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
This makes amazing fried chicken. It is well worth the mess and the work. I used two ziplock baggies for the flour and the batter. Worked great! I fried it in my electric skillet.

Taco Seasoning I

The best mix for tacos. I will never buy this in the store again. Instead of onion powder, I use dried onion flakes, it makes a big difference.

BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
I really didn't think I was going to like this, but it was great! I just used a bottle of thick and spicy flavored with brown sugar bbq sauce and it was perfect, not too sweet, not too spicy. I do salt my pizzas when I bake them from scratch, just to enhance the flavor.

I love this recipe. I make it into taco salad and used tortilla chips with shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa, olives and green onions. Great salad!

Loved this. I used pre-made dough from WinCo and the Hunt's tomato sauce with the green band. The flavor combonation of all of the veggies and meats is incredible. Everyone loved it.

My son is very picky about his rice, but he just loves this. I made this for him and a bunch of his friends before a football game and they all raved about it.

Hearty Meatball Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
This was soooo good. I made it for a basketball game night when my brother and his family came over. They ate it all. I wanted some for leftovers the next day. I added 8 cups of water to make enough for all of us. I added thinly sliced potatoes to the boiling broth before I added anything else.

These are so good and easy to make. I put them in the fridge for Thanksgiving and forgot about them and my kids found them a couple of weeks after and they were still good.

I loved these. I made them all on my griddle so that they were all done at the same time. I made 8 sammies and I still have sauce leftover.

Two Step Creamy Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
I really liked this a whole lot. I took it to a woman's bible study and everybody loved it. I halfed my strawberries and let them sit in sugar while I was making the pie. I made my own graham crack pie crust and used 2 8 ounce packs of cream cheese. I did not add more sugar it was great and easy. I will make this again and again.

Chile Verde II

This is great. Just a little side note, be careful after cutting up all of the pepper not to touch your face or eyes...they are not really hot enough to burn your mouth, but hot enough to burn your skin.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
I used Franks red hot for wings on this and OMG was it good. I served it with ranch on the side. My family does not like blue cheese. My oven recently died, but my kids love pizza so I used my Rival Roaster Oven @ 425 for 20-25 Minutes. I always par bake my dough for about 8-10 Minutes first, then just bake the rest of the time allotted. I also warm some garlic in olive oil and Italian seasoning and brush it around the edge of the pizza.
