Honey Pork with Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2004
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! I love it. I used two small Costco pork tender loin roasts. I was skeptical about the vinegar, but it was not a problem. Next time I will probably omit the peppers. Not because I did not like them, but because they got very mushy. The left-overs were wonderful too, maybe even better than the first serving. Thanx Nancy.

Excellent! I made these for my honey when we were alone and they were fantastic. The lime in the salsa made the whole dish. We loved it.

This is really yummy! It is really, really easy to make too. I sometimes make it spicy by adding an 8 ounce can of salsa.

Steakhouse Wheat Bread for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
This is the best bread I have ever made. I used AP flour and it came out perfect. It was kinda sticky while it was rising, but I just left it and it was great. It is the prettiest loaf I've ever made.

Oh my Goodness! This is sooo good. I have made this over and over again. The only drawback is that there are no potatoes, so I add my own.

Roast Beef Burritos

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
This is an excellent recipe. My 14 yr old son wanted me to make this from the second he saw it. Since it called for precooked roast beef I went searching for a good Mexican style roast beef and I found Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat (from this site) and I am really glad that I did. The two of these recipes work in perfect harmony with each other. I will make this again.

Excellent! Just like mom used to make. She always used Miracle Whip and did not use celery.

Food Wishes Video Recipes: Original Buffalo Chicken Wings (Shaken, Not Stirred) – Totally Authentic, Or So I Hear

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
OMGoodness, these are so good. I was afraid that they were going to be very time consuming to make, but they weren't at all. They were very easy to make and very easy to eat too. I did that little trick at the end where you put them back in the hot oven that has been turned off and that really made everything come together. I had two bags of frozen wings already separated, the only problem was that they were frozen when I took them out at 5pm to make dinner. I filled the bags halfway with water and defrosted them in the sink...even with this inconvenience, dinner was ready by 7pm. I served them with a mixed green salad and rice. Everybody loved this meal. It is going in my regular rotation.

Pumpkin Gobs

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2006
Ok! These were great! I made these for a youth lock-in at church on Fri. the 13th. Only one youth kid got any because when he tried them he took the whole plate of them and locked them in his truck. He shared one with our pastor's wife and daughter and they both said that they would buy them from me. I have to confess, I used the Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting for the filling (also from this site). My husband requested that I make them again so that he can try them.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
I loved this. I used almost a whole large can of pumpkin (minus half-a-cup) and it came out remarkably well. I baked it in a fluted bunt pan for an hour. My niece suggested that I pour in some milk chocolate toffee bits, so I poured them on top and then swirled them around because, of course, it was already in the pan, but it came out perfectly. Thank goodness that I got the last piece.

Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

WAIT! STOP! do not drain the pineapple juice, put it into the marinade. I did use fresh garlic and ginger. My husband said this was great! Better than El Pollo Loco! I made this with Legs and thighs. I marinaded them for only 2 hours and they were great. I did season them with French fry seasoning after I took them out of the marinade.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
This was great. I made it for my son's 11 birthday sleep over. It was a huge hit. This caramel corn reminded me of when I was a girl, there was a popcorn shop in the mall we used to frequent. It brought back so many childhood memories. I will be making this again.
