Kicky Steak Strips with Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2006
Ok, My 13 yr old son and I went a li'l bit overboard with this. We not only added 3T of brown sugar as another reviewer had said, but also 1T of horseraddish, a quarter of a small red onion, about 10 splashes of Emril's green pepper sauce, some seasoned pepper, dried garlic, garlic salt and 1/2 a bunch of fresh parsley stems and all. WOW! this is great. It is easy to make too.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
This was great. I served it with my favorite rice and had a green salad on the side. The men in my house all had it in extra large tortillas with rice. I did however add 1t of chili powder and 1t of cumin. I will make this over and over again.

Lemon Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
If I could I would give this recipe 10*'s. My mom used to make this for me when I was a little girl. She sometimes substituted lime juice for the lemon and some times she would add a bit of lime juice to the lemon juice. This recipe brings back so many memories...now I plan to use this recipe to build memories with my own son's and friends at church.

We eat these all of the time. Sometimes we add mushrooms, olives and onion, too.

Breakfast Burritos

These are a staple in my house. My hubby does not eat bacon, so I make his without. We add La Victoria's Salsa Brava to these. This makes them real spicy.

Kabobs

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
Oh My Goodness! These were the best kabobs I have ever had. Don't forget the mushrooms and pineapple. I had more veggies then meat, so I made serveral veggie skewers. I am making them again this week. I made them with Rainbow Pasta Salad II. Great meal. Even the left overs were wonderful, tender and juicy.

These were delicious, and so easy to make. I will make these again and again and again. To some I added from this web site, Satiny Chocolate Glaze. Amazing.

Garlic Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
I really liked this. I did not have the exact seasonings, but I had very similar items. One big change I made was to pour the marinade out before baking it. The chicken was very tender. Almost forgot, I added worcestershire

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
Ok, I am a nerd. Forgot to add the egg. They were still wonderful, just a little rubbery, (but that was my fault). I added fresh squeezed orange juice from two oranges, and the zest of one, also, I had frozen strawberries so I defrosted about 6 of them, chopped them and added them...next time I will add more. Yummy!

Rainbow Pasta Salad II

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
This salad is always good. I never add tomatoes because I am alergic to them. This time I added carrots. I made this with "kabobs" from this site. Yummy!

For some reason this was really salty. I even added an extra avacado.

Chicken Hurry

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
The only reason that I gave this 3*'s is because while it was cooking, all I could think of was meatloaf. I will try this sauce again, but on meatloaf instead.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
This was so good. I was not too sure about using chicken in a red chili, but I am so happy that I tried this. I did not use the beer, but replaced it with the same amount of water and a tablespoon chicken bouillon.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
This is the best chicken soft taco I have ever had. I did make it easier on my self. I bought fresh chicken tenders, chopped them into little pieces, put them in a large ziplock baggie; added 1 teaspoon each of cumin, oregano, chilie powder, salt, pepper and a li'l bit of olive oil. Let stand for about 30 min. Then followed the directions from there.

E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
YAY! Finally a biscuit that even I can't mess up. We loved these. Made them with turkey a-la king (also from this site). They were a hit together. I made 8 large biscuits. I had one with dinner and had the other with butter and honey. YUM-O!

This was soooo good and easy. I made with my son's favorite rice and e-z drop biscuits (from this site). It was a hit. The only bad thing about this recipe was that there were no left-overs.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
This is exactly what I wanted. I made this twice in one week. I did not use chicken breast, but 2 lb ground turkey. It was wonderful. I did not do #'s 3-5, but did it all on the stove. Yes, this took less than 30 mins. I will make this over and over again.
