English Muffin Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2007
This bread is exceptional! We really love it. I cannot seem to get enough, but everyone else in my family seems to. It is good and so easy. I do however just half the bread and put it in two bread pans of equal size.

Tail Burner Firehouse French Fries

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
This is great! I made these fries with garlic pepper instead of lemon pepper and added a tablespoon of salt. I rubbed the steak fries with olive oil instead of butter, then poured on the seasoning and baked them for 30 min. Soooooo good!!!!

I would give this more stars if I could. Actually, I never tasted this, but the reactions from the people at church were amazing. People actually want the recipe.

Shredded French Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
We loved this. I could not find beef consomme, or the condensed French onion soup where I live, so I used all beef broth and a package of dry French onion soup mix and just added the water called for by the soup. YUM-O!

Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2007
We loved this recipe. I made it for dinner, and everybody raved about it. My sister-in-law said it was great. I cook for my church and she said I should make it for next Sunday. I did change it a bit. My family does not like sour cream, so I added a can of cream of mushroom and a scant 1/2 cup of milk. Also, my hubby does not eat beef or pork, so I used all chicken. I completely omitted the butter.

Double Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2007
This is soooo good. I only made a couple of slight changes. When I took it off of the heat, I added a talbespoon of butter, and then I whipped it in my stand mixer and allowed it to cool, then I added the chopped chocolate. I only had semi-sweet chocolate. Yum-O! Ok, do not mix it with the stand mixer, it never sets afterwards.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
This was great. I made it for my son's 11 birthday sleep over. It was a huge hit. This caramel corn reminded me of when I was a girl, there was a popcorn shop in the mall we used to frequent. It brought back so many childhood memories. I will be making this again.

Crispy Butter Cookies

These are excellent! This was one of the cookies that made it to my Thanksgiving Cookie List 2006. I am so happy that I did. These are the best sugar cookie that I have ever made. I cannot roll out cookie dough because of an old injury so these work perfectly for me.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
Ok, this filling is so wonderful. I used it in Pumpkin Gobs from this site and if you read that review for those you will know that this frosting is the only cream cheese frosting you should ever use. People want to buy this combination from me.

Pumpkin Gobs

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2006
Ok! These were great! I made these for a youth lock-in at church on Fri. the 13th. Only one youth kid got any because when he tried them he took the whole plate of them and locked them in his truck. He shared one with our pastor's wife and daughter and they both said that they would buy them from me. I have to confess, I used the Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting for the filling (also from this site). My husband requested that I make them again so that he can try them.

Orzo and Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2006
So good and easy. I chopped a whole onion, doubled the rice and orzo, browned them, then added my onion and let that cook for about 2 min. added 2 cans of chicken broth, salted and peppered to taste. Amazing! Simply Amazing.

Grecian Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2006
OMGoodness, Phenominal is the word I would use because this was so good. I was worried about the greek seasoning tasting too minty, but it was perfect. I made mine with bone-in, skin-on chicken; which made the cooking time increase, but i was worth it. My husband said he would spend $25 a plate for this meal at an expensive restaurant. Oh yeah, I made it with Orzo and Rice from this site.
