I have a wide variety of hobbies, with cooking and baking slowly but surely creeping in to join the menagerie. I've also recently started towards a low-carb lifestyle, which has resulted in a lot of long, agonizing grocery trips but also introduced a lot of creativity into our meals.

Eggs over easy, salmon in foil, mashed cauliflower, and broiled chicken thighs.

My cooking triumphs
I have finally mastered the runny yolk while still fully cooking the whites in eggs. Many an overcooked yolk have left my pan in the process of striking the balance.
I also have managed a fine risotto, which can be tricky when you're basically cooking a grain dry.
My cooking tragedies
I mourn the loss of some fine ahi tuna steaks that were unfortunately overcooked and turned out chewier than Double Bubble.
