Sweet Party Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
I thought this was great. The hubby liked it and the container I took to work disappeared within an hour. This flavor is very sweet, which I like, but to some it might be too sweet. I added pretzels and whole wheat chex mix and still thought there was enough of the butter/sugar mixture to accommodate more cereal. I will try with whole almonds and hazelnuts next time as well as another 2-3 cups of cereal. This is a keeper :).

Very easy and great tasting. I only used 1/2 tablespoon of the sweet condensed milk and it was enough.

Spicy Tortilla Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
This was probably the simplest "snack" recipe that I've put together. I took it to a barbecue (used spinach and tomato wraps to make it festive) and it was gone within 30 minutes. Everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Oh my goodness these were amazing. Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe. This will be a regular thing in my house. After I cut the squares I froze them and micro'd them when I was in the mood for a treat. They heat well in the micro.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
I thought this was good and so did my husband. We don't eat a lot of feta so the flavors in the dish was new to us. I really enjoyed it and I will definately make it again. Note: I didn't have oil packed sun dried tomato so I cut up several that I had in a package and I think they turned out great. Thank you for the great recipe!

Lobster Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
We had a good portion of leftover lobster and I heard that lobster doesn't reheat well so I thought of a lobster sandwich that I had at Neiman Marcus for lunch one day. This recipe is FAR better then what Neiman Marcus offers. SO simple but yet, so delicious. I brought fresh French bread from the bakery and toasted it prior to dressing the sandwich. The next time we have lobster I plan on buying too much again, just so that I can have this sandwich the next day!!!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Oh boy these were decadent! Not a good thing to keep around the house if you're watching calories. I cut mine up into small pieces and stored them in the freezer. These are just like twix bars, but BETTER!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
My husband wanted lasagna and this recipe stuck out so I gave it a try. We both thought it turned out really well. I didn't look at the reviews prior to cooking so I used the exact amounts of spice(salt and fennel seeds too) that it called for and I didn't find it salty....and this is from someone that NEVER adds salt to her meals. I did make a few modifications; I used ground turkey breast and turkey Italian sausage. I also decided to mix in chopped (frozen) spinach about 5 minutes before the sauce was done cooking. I didn't have use of a dutch oven and just simmered it in a covered pot for 1.5 hours and I think it still turned our amazing. This is definately not a "quick" meal to make, but it's also not labor intensive either. I'll make it again, but I'll probably cut the salt in 1/2 just to see if I notice the difference. Thank you for this GREAT lasagna recipe. It will be something I look forward to making again. ...oh and I can't wait to see how good it taste tomorrow!

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
This recipe is the best! The only bad thing is that you can't reheat it or take the leftovers for lunch, due to the oil separating. ...and YES I have used the exact same Classico brand olive oil and from MY experience it does not reheat well. I've found that twice the flavors were not the same, it became dry and loss flavor. Kudos to you experts who can reheat this dish.

Sausage Casserole

Everyone loved this and they had no idea that I made a healthy version. I used 3 whole eggs and egg beaters. I also used low fat cottage cheese and low fat cheese. Instead of standard breakfast sausage I used turkey breakfast sausage.
